A NEW APPROACH
Through our personal development focused curriculum, our innovative school is pioneering a new approach to education - one that transcends traditional boundaries and focuses on nurturing the holistic development of every child. For those parents looking to pass along to their kids what they have learned in their own personal growth and development - look no further.
OUR VISION
From one mother’s frustration with the lack of education that prepares her kids for life, to building a school that will help not just hers but many other kids thrive in life!
Let’s work together to make completely content, proud, centered humans - starting now! We believe in a world where educators and parents work together through a school curriculum that centers on creating happy, healthy and wealthy children.
Why wait to start their personal development journey at the age of 50 when you can start at 5 years old?
At The Thrive School, we have designed an incredible curriculum to meet your child where they are in their elementary education and guide them to understanding key concepts like emotional regulation, human psychology and a passion-followed life.
Go on a journey with us as we integrate teachings from the world’s foremost coaches, mindset masters, leaders and teachers into an elementary school. The world of education has changed since COVID and the mask unveiled on how our kids were really spending their time.
This is the new frontier - finding a way to have students who grow intellectually, emotionally, spiritually and do so with more family and travel time than ever before. If you are looking to choose a different path for your child and your family, this it the private school you have been looking for!
WHAT SETS THE THRIVE SCHOOL APART?
Our innovative methods and structure
At our school, we believe that the journey to personal development starts early. Our founder, Joanna Tabaku, author of a book for parents guiding them to raise happy, healthy and wealthy children, is dedicated to nurturing this concept in young minds from the very beginning - raising her own kids in this way. Her Happy, Healthy, Wealthy curriculum, inspired by her own personal growth journey and work with top experts, is the cornerstone of our community and learning philosophy.
Passionate educators
Our team of dedicated teachers and teaching assistants are not only educators but also practitioners of personal development. They weave these essential life skills into every lesson and seize teachable moments throughout the school day to reinforce these concepts, ensuring that personal growth is a fundamental part of every child's education.
Tailored learning
We recognize that each child is unique, so we adopt an individualized approach to meet students where they are. Our two-tier curriculum is designed for broad age ranges: K-2 (ages 5-8) and 3-5 (ages 8-11). Students are placed in the curriculum that best fits their needs in each core subject, with small class sizes capped at 20 students. Each class has a dedicated and passionate teacher, plus a teaching assistant, ensuring a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
Experiential learning
Experiential and project-based learning is our forte! Each trimester, the entire school engages in a project focused on one of our core themes: Happy, Healthy, or Wealthy. These projects might include creating a garden, developing a product, or serving the community. Students explore the world around them through local excursions and interactions with guest experts, bringing real-world experience into their learning.
Comprehensive curriculum
Our subject curriculum integrates content from various renowned programs, ensuring a robust and well-rounded education. We will use The Great Minds academic curriculum as it is written to integrate project-based approach and helps to teach the kids how to think, not what to think.
Flexibility for families
We understand that learning extends beyond the classroom. Inspired by our founder's passion for travel and family exploration, we offer flexible options for families. You can choose to homeschool on Thursdays and/or Fridays, or take our curriculum on the road. We believe the world is a vast classroom, full of endless opportunities for discovery and growth.
